The Aico EI141RC was designed as a budget friendly smoke detector, the EI141RC provides an 9V battery back-up.  The Ei141RC comes with an Easi-Fit base that allows simple and fast installation of the smoke alarm, combined with "click-in" detector head. The Easi-Fit base connects to the mains power therefore leaving the detector head loose until your ready to fully install the unit. The 9V battery will last for up to 4 years in standby, and will power the smoke detector for up to 2 years in the event of power failure. T

The Ei141RC has other advanced Aico features such as the ability to interconnect up to twelve alarms and to allow all the other alarms to sound, if just one of the interconnected alarms should be activated.  

The Ei141RC Also contains Aico's RadioLINK technology, For the RadioLINK to work, Simply plug in an Ei168RC base to create a wireless interconnection in between alarms, creating no need no interlinking cables between the alarms.
