Contactum DDS10166AMS-P01 Metal Amendment 3 Consumer Unit is a 10 way Fully Loaded High Integrity Board. A "High Integrity" Consumer unit is one that allows you split the MCBs in 2 sections. These are connected with a fly lead so the Main Switch is still used to isolate the full board. Since all 18th Edition Compliant Amendant 3 Consumer units must be protected against earth leakage, Overload and short circuits. The 2 Sections (63A rated) are to split to accommodate the loading's through a dwelling, I.e upstairs and Downstairs so if upstairs goes off the downstairs stays on! (this is dependent on how the house is wired)
